CREMONA
The Province of
Cremona confines to North with the province of
Bergamo and the province of
Brescia, to East with the province of
Mantova, to South with the
Emilia Romagna (province of
Parma, province of
Piacenza), to West with the province of
Lodi and the province of Milan.
Geography
The province of
Cremona is surrounded, in the heart of the valley of
Po, by three rivers:
Adda to west,
Po to south,
Oglio to east. In the northern part (High
Cremonese) it is crossed by the
Serio. The scenery in the province consists in an uninterrupted expanse of cultivated fields and in a quiet flow of rivers and channels. There are four natural parks in the territory of
Cremona.

By car -
Cremona is on the junction of the A21
Torino-Piacenza, that at
Piacenza intersects with the A1 from Milan. The A21 links the city also with the A4
Milano-Venezia, intersected at
Brescia.
By train - The rail net lombardian links
Cremona with all the main regional and national cities. The station of
Cremona, next to the urban centre, is linked to the main monuments with numerous lines of public transport.
By airplain - At about 80 Km from the city there are the airports of Milan:
Linate, which effects national and international flights, and
Malpensa, with intercontinental links.
